Flatulence can be prevented or improved through proper nutrition, avoiding heavy or spicy meals, and reducing the consumption of gaseous beverages. Eating in an orderly way is also important. Eat in quiet without the distration of the television, radio, or newspaper. Eat meals at regularly set times without skipping any meals.
